About the role St John NT is recruiting qualified paramedics for the Northern Territory.
This position provides efficient and competent treatment and transportation of the sick and injured in the Northern Territory.
You will find yourself:
Responding to a significant number of medical and trauma cases requiring full application of clinical knowledge and skills Demonstrating your adaptive and creative thinking skills through overcoming language and cultural barriers in treating a diverse patient population Delivering care with a wide scope of practice supported by the new St John NT Clinical Practice Manual Developing an understanding of the unique characteristics of living and working under extreme weather conditions and in 'out of the ordinary' situations Treating complex cases, often in remote locations requiring 4WD, boat or plane access This role presents a real opportunity to expand your scope of practice, benefits include:

Current Authority to Practice as a Qualified Paramedic Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian residential status, or valid work visa) Employment with St John NT is subject to a National Police Clearance, Working with Children (Ochre Card), physical fitness testing and compliance with the St John NT Immunisation Policy. We request, if you have the following documentation, could you please upload with your Resume, Cover Letter and Completed Questionnaire. Proof of Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or working visa (i.e., passport, birth certificate, visa letter). Any qualifications and certificates relevant to the role. If you have a N.T Working with Children Card (OCHRE) and Police Check (no older than 3 months) St John Ambulance Australia NT is a self-funding charitable organisation active in the Northern Territory, dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger.
