Management Accountant

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Management Accountant who can join the business and hit the ground running.
As the Management Accountant your primary focus will be on business partnering with Operations to drive effective cost control.
Your duties will include:
Processing of monthly journals Delivering accurate monthly reports (Management and Capex reports) in a timely manner Primary support on cost analysis, variance analysis and financial support for all stakeholders Assists with budget/forecast process, providing accurate inputs and analysing results Balance Sheet reconciliations preparation - responsible for reconciling balance sheets and providing support for movements and closing balances Continuously monitoring of transactions to ensure controls are followed and that compliance with standards are maintained Liaising with Fixed Asset accountants to ensure fixed assets are capitalisations and disposals processed accordingly Process improvement by seeking opportunities to improve accounting process and procedures to promote efficiency and cost savings Maintain effective key internal controls Assist with internal/external audit requests during half and full year.
To be successful in your application, you will ideally possess:
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) with 1-4 years relevant experience Qualified or progressing towards qualifications as CA/CPA/CIMA Knowledge and application of accounting 'best practices' Understanding of a strong internal control system (experience with SOX highly regarded) Advanced MS Excel If you are an experienced Management Accountant and looking for your next opportunity, apply today
