The Opportunity We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in our Brisbane office.
This is an exciting time for Robert Bird Group, as we go through continual expansion and complete our most exciting projects yet.
This role presents an opportunity for a passionate Analyst seeking to move to an in-house finance environment.
Working with the Chief Financial Officer and Commercial Finance Manager to provide a wide range of accounting functions, primarily focused on financial and management performance and reporting.
This includes the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results, updates to financial forecasts (including coordinating with Group regions), and financial performance measures of the Group.
This role will also work with the Group ERP Integration Manager to assist with the migration project of the RBG business group to SJ ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning solution) project stream systems.
The Senior Business Analyst / Electronic Data Processing (EDP) Project Manager will model RBG's values, mission, and vision and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
As a trusted advisor, you will be reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager to achieve the following:
Accounting experience at a senior level including excellent experience in overall technical financial accounting.High-level communication skills, with demonstrated ability in building relationships, influencing leaders, and supporting teams to achieve commercial objectives.Senior experience in analysing and preparing reports, including the ability to present information in a logical and clear manner.Senior financial reporting experience ideally within a medium-sized global organisation.High level of business acumen, with the ability to analyse information.Strong understanding of accounting principles, with experience in implementation.Proven ability to implement sound management practices.Ability to work in an agile, dynamic, and changing organisation.Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task, and work across the business which is located in multiple time zones.Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.High accuracy of work and outstanding attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously, take direction and work as part of a team.Successful applicant will have the following qualifications and skills: 4+ Years within similar role experienceExperience in Commercial and Contract Law is essentialStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide and influence senior staffExcellent organisational and time management skillsA great relationship builder and client service focusThe ability to work effectively in an autonomous role and as part of a teamExperience in construction and consulting contracts will be an advantageIf you are seeking a career that offers variety, a challenge, and a collaborative continuous learning working environment, we want to hear from you
