Hays has partnered with a Big 4 bank to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst to an initial 12-month contract on a key project.

Your new role
As the Senior Business Analyst, your role is pivotal in supporting the BA Chapter to drive discovery and deliver processes, ensuring complex process design and compliance management.
Your core duties will include:Eliciting and documenting requirements from a variety of business stakeholders (Lending, Risk, Deposits etc.
)Assisting the Technical BA's in translating business requirements into technical requirementsLeading impact analysis for various impacted systems and work with Tech BA's to finalise requirements for each systemUsing Jira, Confluence, and working in a fast-paced Agile teamWhat you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Business Analyst, with at least 4 years in a Senior Business Analyst role.
You'll showcase demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end pieces of work with minimal supervision, as well as a good understanding of Lending and Banking businesses (ideally with exposure to core banking systems and customer systems.)
You'll possess strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, and be comfortable talking to, presenting to, and collaborating with a diverse group.
Strong process design and optimisation skills are also a must, as well as the skills to work in an Agile environment.

Working between the Brisbane office and home in a hybrid arrangement, you'll also enjoy a daily rate up to $1032.67/day incl.
