About the Role As an Assistant Accountant at Breville, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording and analysis of non-commercial financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
Supporting multiple entities within APAC and EMEA regions, you will contribute to key financial processes across the Breville Group Shared Services.
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work three days in the office and two days from home each week.
Key Responsibilities Process daily cash transactions.Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.Manage prepayments and intercompany transactions, including reconciliations.Assist with end-of-month processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Assist in the preparation of VAT returns for various EU countries.Support the preparation and finalization of FBT returns.We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have: Degree qualified in Accounting or related discipline.Minimum 2 years of related experience.CPA/CA qualification completed or currently underway.Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.Key Attributes for Success Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage at all levels of the organisation.Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What we offer you: Competitive compensation package.A fun and rewarding team environment.Opportunity to work for an Australian Stock Exchange listed company.Employee assistance program.Paid parental leave policy.Employee discounts of up to 50% on all our electrical products.Corporate health and wellness benefits.To Apply Come and make your mark with this global leader by applying today via the Apply Now button.
