Financial Controller - Leadership Opportunity with a Leading Australian Manufacturing Business The Company Our client is a prominent player in the Australian manufacturing industry, known for delivering high-quality products and innovation.

The Role As the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for the overall financial management, reporting, and control of the business.
You will lead a high-performing finance team and provide strategic financial advice to senior management, driving business performance and supporting growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including consolidation of financials Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy Conducting detailed financial analysis, providing insights into cost control, profitability, and business performance Managing cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure optimal financial health Developing and implementing strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks Collaborating closely with operations, supply chain, and production teams to drive process efficiencies Acting as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing financial advice and support for strategic decision-making About You CA/CPA qualified with at least 7+ years of experience in finance leadership roles Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of Australian financial regulations Proven track record in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the business Interested?
