This hands-on role offers the opportunity to play a key part in our growth journey, with full responsibility for accounting operations and financial reporting and the chance to lead a small finance team locally and remotely.About the Role:As the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of all accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, budgeting, compliance, and process improvements.
With full responsibility for the company accounts, you'll drive our finance strategy while managing a dedicated team, including three remote employees.
Your insights will support strategic decision-making, while your leadership will foster a high-performance culture across the finance function.You will be Hands-On:Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and performance analysis.Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and banking relationships.Maintain robust internal controls and support audit processes.Drive process improvements and system enhancements to optimise finance operations.Lead and develop a finance team, including remote employees, to achieve excellence.What We're Looking For:A candidate who can be both hands-on and lead a team.A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting certification.3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management in a leadership role.Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management.Experience managing remote teams and collaborating across different time zones.Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing projects.Why Join Us?DNX Solutions is the leading modernisation expert for AWS cloud services in ANZ, specialising in applications, infrastructure, data, and security.We are incredibly proud of being one of only seven Amazon Premiere Partners (AWS) in Australia with more than 140 certifications, including the prestigious Security and DevOps competencies from AWS.We offer a competitive salary and performance-based bonus.A collaborative work culture that values diversity and supports continuous improvement.Opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.How to Apply:If you are ready to take your career to the next level with a role that offers challenge, growth, and the chance to lead in a remote team, we want to hear from you
