The client:Is a well-regarded property developer who has been in operation for more than 30 years.
They are known in the industry for their expertise in high-rise residential, but also have a mixed portfolio of assets which they own and manage.
The Opportunity:For an experienced Property Manager ready to step up into an Assistant Asset Manager role is required due to the growth of the company.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will work closely together to ensure the portfolio is performing at optimum levels, through rolling out strategic initiatives and managing the external third-party agencies.
Responsibilities:Working with the Leadership Team to collate updated portfolio dataTenant Liaison around leases and rental commitmentsAssist with leasing and CAPEX data for the annual asset planPlanning and managing property maintenanceExternal Stakeholder liaison; property and leasing lawyers, in-house counsel, tenants, managing agents, marketing & development teamTracking updates from leasing agents, reviewing leases & contributing to leasing strategyManaging centre and property management teams and monitoring KPI'sCoordinate the preparation and approval process of property operating budgetsAssisting with quarterly and annual reporting of the portfolioAssist in the due diligence and assessment of potential acquisitionsFinancial analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting (i.e.
variance reporting, discounted cash flows, IRR's, etc.
)Assisting in the sale of assetsAs well as the duties involved, the current Asset Manager is looking for someone they can mentor and teach higher-level asset management duties and take them on a career development plan to grow their skills into an Asset ManagerRequirements:Able to read a commercial leaseProperty management experience across any asset classExcellent stakeholder skillsNegotiation skillsEnergetic and positive demeanorBenefits:Pathway to Asset ManagementFlat structure = No red tapeDecisions made quicklyExposure to all asset classesIf you're a motivated Asset Manager and looking to elevate your career in a thriving environment, we want to hear from you
