We are seeking a Longwall Electrical Engineer to join our Lake Macquarie based Mandalong Mine operation and develop a successful career in the mining industry.

Reporting to the Longwall Superintendent, your role will be responsible for: Leading the Longwall Electrical team in a state-of-the-art longwall system with "Remote Operating Centre" controlled from the surfaceWorking alongside a dedicated Automation Engineer to ensure efficient operation of a full Komatsu LongwallSafety and compliance as per Centennial and site management systemsOperational compliance through maintenance inspections and reportingCoordinating electrical engineering services and maintenance activitiesSupporting the electrical engineering team to execute planned activities and improve engineering availabilityAssisting the site to reach and maintain production targetsSupporting commitment to a high level of internal safety standards and team culturePositive team leadership and influenceCentennial is offering: Permanent full-time positionAttractive salary packageCareer development and training opportunitiesSalary sacrifice optionsLake Macquarie lifestyle enjoying the local beaches, waterways, parks, sporting facilities with family friendly living by the coastSuitable candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes: Electrical Engineering qualificationsPrevious experience in a similar Electrical Engineering or Longwall Electrical supervisory roleExperience with automation technologies, such as PLCs or SCADA systems, used in longwall mining operationsStrong leadership and a desire to inspire and drive excellenceCommitment to safety, operational practices, and mine production targetsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalOrganised and reliable work ethicPersonal drive and problem-solving skillsAbout Centennial Centennial Coal Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia's largest independent Energy Group, Banpu Public Company Limited.
