Our client is a leading Brisbane-based communications platform provider that specialises in integrating multiple communication systems into a unified interface. Known for its fast-paced growth in the communication technology sector, the company seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead expansion efforts within the private sector, focusing on high-value enterprise clients.

Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies to drive new business within the private sector, particularly focusing on high-value clients. Initially operating independently, the BDM will establish and refine sales processes, with the potential to build and lead a high-performance sales team as the company scales. This role offers substantial commission incentives based on gross revenue, ideal for a motivated and results-driven individual.

Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the private sector, generating leads and establishing a robust sales pipeline.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across target industries, acting as a trusted partner to understand and meet their needs.Sales Process Leadership: Drive sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals, managing a monthly sales cycle focused on top-tier enterprise clients with revenue potential ranging from $200,000 to over $3 million annually.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including the Sales Associate Rep Program, to develop collateral, support lead generation, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.Team Growth and Leadership: As the company grows, establish a sales team and contribute to its ongoing success by mentoring junior team members.Qualifications and Experience: 3-4 years of successful SaaS sales experience within the private sector (experience with telecom or communication tech solutions is advantageous).Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and to close high-value deals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a solutions-driven approach.Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics to support data-driven decision-making.Self-motivated and highly competitive, with a strong desire for commission-based rewards.Leadership potential and interest in developing a high-performance sales team.Incentives and Benefits: Competitive Base Salary: Up to $150,000 + Super + commsCommission Structure: Substantial earning potential with a percentage of gross revenue from closed deals.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and to lead a sales team as the company grows.Supportive Team Environment: Access to Sales Associate Rep Program resources to assist with collateral and lead generation.Client Engagement: Directly engage with top-tier clients, managing relationships and opportunities that drive significant revenue.This position offers a dynamic work environment with lucrative commission opportunities and the chance to impact a growing tech company directly.
