What's the Buzz About This Project? Jwaneng Mine is owned by Debswana and is an operational Open Pit Mine, situated 160 km west of Gaborone.
The mine has been in operation since 1982 and has been operating as an open pit since inception.
The next phase for Jwaneng is to transition from surface to underground operation and develop twin declines from within the existing pit.
Experienced Diamond Drill Superintendent Needed
Help us drive success as an experienced Diamond Drill Superintendent on the Jwaneng Project in Botswana.
The role will oversee and manage all diamond drilling operations and will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe drilling operations, managing drilling crews, and coordinating with other departments to achieve exploration and production goals.
Must Have Skills: Underground development experience in a leadership roleExperience working as an expatriate will be highly regardedUnderground Diamond Drilling Experience highly regardedMinimum 5 years' experience operating a LM90 Drill Rig with rod handler.Certificate III Drilling in Operations is mandatory.In-depth knowledge of diamond drilling techniques, equipment, and safety standards.Ability and willingness to transfer/mentor their skills and knowledge to Batswana personnelAll valid and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licensesAdherence to all company safety standards, policies, and proceduresA valid International Manual Driver's Licence, or the ability to obtain one.A valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months)A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.What We Bring to the Table FIFO options from any of Australia and New Zealand's capital cities6 week on / 4 week off roster.Flexible Economy flights provided from point of hire.Internal promotions as a pathway for career growthCompetitive and appealing expatriate salary packageMedical and travel insurance provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr
