Auto Electrician - Caboolture Workshop Action Drill & Blast | Brisbane Metropolitan

Action Drill & Blast is the leading integrated drilling and blasting contractor in Australia.

We are currently seeking applications for an Auto Electrician position in a full-time capacity working Monday to Friday at our Caboolture Workshop. Overtime opportunities available as well.
Reporting to the Workshop Superintendent, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Completing the electrical components of rebuilds of drill rigs and other mining equipment and mining assets Fault finding and diagnostics of drill rigs and other mining assets. Maintaining accurate records of all electrical repairs and installations Collaborating with other team members to complete projects within deadlines Applying safe systems of work and implement risk control measures in the workshop while performing tasks (JHA's & Take 5's). Ensuring the work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition Required skills/qualifications:
Trade Certificate – Automotive Electrical Previous experience conducting component change-outs and breakdown repairs Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills using OEM diagnostic tools to identify complex electrical problems Driver Licence Capability in reading and interpreting auto electrical schematics Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team including mentoring and training Apprentices Great interpersonal and communication skills PLC experience Airconditioning Licence and Certificates Forklift Licence and operating experience If selected, you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen prior to commencement.
