We are welcoming applications for the permanent opportunity of Learning Design Specialist to work alongside a highly capable team within a centralised learning and development model.
Reporting to the Manager Training & Compliance, this role will be tasked with the design, development and implementation of innovative learning solutions for IGO that are appropriately tailored to adult learners.
Key accountabilities include : Instructional Design & Methodology: Apply adult learning principles, Meyer's Multimedia Principles, and the ADDIE framework to design engaging, learner-centric training solutions;Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to define training needs and objectives, guiding them through the project lifecycle from inception to delivery;Learning Development & Tools: Design and develop interactive training materials using tools such as Articulate Rise, incorporating video, graphics, and interactive activities as needed;Evaluation & Feedback Mechanisms: Develop feedback tools and metrics to measure training effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement;Compliance & Learning Outcomes: Ensure training complies with legislative and mandatory requirements.Your Experience Tertiary qualification in Instructional Design (or equivalent work experience);Substantial experience designing and developing adult learning;Expertise in adult learning methodologies, design thinking, and instructional design frameworks;Strong experience with Articulate Rise / Storyline and familiarity with integrating multimedia elements (video, graphics, and interactivity);Proficiency in video and multimedia production for e-learning using Vyond, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI Applications;Demonstrated ability to design training for accessibility and cultural inclusivity;Understanding of mandatory training requirements and developing compliance-focused learning programs;Experience or training in User-Experience or Graphic Design (desirable);National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.Apply Today Apply today with an up-to-date resume to express your interest in this role.
