This role combines expertise in AI technologies, user-centric design, and engineering excellence to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions.
The Senior CoPilot Engineer works collaboratively with product managers, data scientists, and developers to create intuitive AI copilots that empower users across various domains.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design and DevelopmentArchitect, develop, and optimize AI-powered copilots leveraging natural language processing (NLP), generative AI models, and machine learning frameworks.Design workflows for integrating AI copilots into applications, tools, and platforms (e.g., IDEs, CRM systems, or productivity suites).Ensure the scalability, performance, and usability of AI solutions across diverse user scenarios.Model Training and Fine-TuningFine-tune pre-trained large language models (LLMs) to meet domain-specific requirements.Collaborate with data scientists to create high-quality training datasets and improve the accuracy and contextual understanding of copilots.Continuously refine models based on user feedback, behavioral data, and evolving business needs.System Integration and DeploymentBuild seamless integrations of AI copilots with APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.Lead the deployment and monitoring of AI solutions, ensuring robustness and minimizing downtime.Implement CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices for efficient AI model updates and system scalability.User-Centric OptimizationWork closely with product teams to understand user workflows and ensure the AI copilot delivers meaningful, context-aware assistance.Design and implement user feedback loops to continuously improve the copilots performance and usability.Create intuitive UX/UI elements for AI copilots to enhance user interaction.Governance and EthicsEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and AI ethics standards, particularly when handling sensitive or proprietary data.Mitigate risks of bias, hallucinations, and errors in AI copilots through robust testing and validation processes.Collaboration and MentorshipCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to align on project goals and deliverables.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.Essential requirementsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with 2+ years in developing AI-powered assistants, conversational agents, or generative AI solutions.Proven track record of deploying scalable AI systems in production environments.Strong expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and familiarity with frameworks such as Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, or Google Vertex AI.Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar, with experience in integrating APIs and cloud services.Solid understanding of MLOps practices, including model versioning, deployment pipelines, and monitoring.Experience with front-end or UX/UI design principles for AI-powered interfaces.Knowledge of responsible AI principles and governance.Key AttributesStrong problem-solving skills with a passion for building user-centric AI solutions.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Continuous learner with a focus on staying ahead of advancements in AI and LLM technologies.Join Trideca: Where Innovation Meets InclusivityAt Trideca, we're not just building cutting-edge solutions, we're cultivating a workplace that champions diversity, inclusivity, and continuous growth.
