The position of Installation & Commissioning Manager will take a 'hands-on' approach to drive the achievement of key organisational outcomes, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget, ultimately exceeding our clients' expectations.
The position will undertake pre-project site inspections, project planning, scheduling, and client communications, be onsite for container deliveries, and undertake commissioning alongside necessary tradespersons.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have a competent understanding of what makes our clients' businesses tick.
Our Eagles Nest (Head office) is based in Orange NSW; however, this role can be located remotely in Victoria or Southern NSW and will require regular travel each week to project sites.
Your main responsibilities will include: Ownership of all installation and commissioning requirements for multiple projects on the eastern seaboard of Australia and our expansion into New Zealand.Providing technical troubleshooting and system support, including programming and resolving issues with cloud-based software for system management and diagnostics.Providing regular updates on project progress, including deliverables, timelines, and any potential risks or delays.Being the primary liaison between suppliers, trade contractors, and farmers to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.Handling conflict resolution, addressing customer complaints, and providing timely, effective solutions.Overseeing the warranty process, ensuring timely resolutions for customers experiencing issues related to product performance.Reviewing business processes to minimise risk and deliver profitable project outcomes.Leading, coaching, and mentoring which promotes clear lines of communication and a 'what, not who' approach to build further transparency, accountability, and drive stakeholder engagement.Ensuring safe work practices and legislative compliance, particularly with regard to work health & safety.To be considered for this role you will: Have a natural leadership style where our stakeholders will respect your approach to both operational matters and technical and business decisions.Have above-average computer and technology skills to appreciate the advanced processes and approach already within the business.Have demonstrated business management exposure ideally underpinned by trade qualifications.Have demonstrated experience managing project costs and improving margins where possible.Have refined people skills to influence a wide range of stakeholders.Have the ability to work under pressure and resilience to juggle the competing priorities of the position.As a person you will: Provide a calming and stable leadership approach in an industry sector which can often be the opposite.Be analytical and pedantic about the details while maintaining a big-picture approach.Be a disciplined individual who has a 'can do' solutions-based client approach and an unwavering commercial focus.Have a collaborative leadership style with well-honed conflict resolution skills.Demonstrate a high level of initiative and drive as you continuously improve the business's competitive edge.We will meet the market with a competitive salary and benefits package.
