About Us Healius employs 10,000+ passionate people, with an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.
We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals, to small Indigenous Australian communities.

What You Will Be Doing We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Finance division as a Group Reporting Manager (GRM) on a 12 month contract.
The role will report to the General Manager – Financial Reporting & Controls and take ownership over the consolidation and reporting of monthly Group results for management and statutory purposes, including half year and year external reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include: Preparation and co-ordination of statutory reporting requirements – annual report and half year report for the Group and standalone financials of offshore entitiesDelivery of monthly consolidated management results within reporting deadlines and provide insight to resultsProactive communication and engagement with operating business units to ensure reporting timetable is met and to deliver on initiativesSupporting the Group in delivering insight, strategic initiatives and value add analysisPreparation of accounting papers on technical mattersAdhere to the financial controls and financial control frameworkPartnering with the operating business units and the wider business to deliver on finance initiatives, and process improvement programsCo-manage GL (SAP) and consolidation system (BPC), including process improvement and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and drive efficiencies in both systemsManagement and support of the external auditorsActively identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing solutions and driving changeWhat Type of Person Will Be Successful These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess: CA or CPA qualified with 4+ years' Big 4 audit experience or equivalent commercial experience in a group reporting roleRole is suited for a second-time mover with a Big 4 accounting backgroundResults focused - able to manage deadlines and does what it takes to ensure results are achievedStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProactive and shows initiativeProblem solver and not afraid to challenge convention in order to improve a processStrong system skills - Have the right mind set to get in and understand how systems work and how to leverage systems to gather data in an efficient and effective mannerThe ability to think independently and thrive in a team environmentSAP and BPC knowledge highly regardedBenefits, Perks and Wellbeing As part of working for Healius, you will have access to a range of benefits & perks including: Benefits platform - Reduce the impact of the cost of living with everyday savings with 500+ of Australia's most-loved brands, (from the weekly grocery shop to premium perks like holidays).Fitness Passport – Access top fitness centres & pools across Australia at a subsidised rate.Corporate health insurance discounts, banking benefits and novated leasing salary packaging.Career growth and development opportunities with access to a comprehensive library of online courses and learning paths via our e-learning platform.Confidential health and well-being support through our Employee Assistance Program, available to all employees and their family members.Our Commitment to Diversity And Inclusion Healius Pathology is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
