The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Research - Clinical Trials Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Demonstrate sound knowledge and ability of clinical trial methodology and practices.
Communicate effectively with sponsors and external organizations throughout trials.
Maintain clinical research files and essential documents in line with protocols.
Monitor key outcomes and safety endpoints related to clinical trial treatments.
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits

Temporary part time; Base salary ranging from $54.45 - $58.30 per hour.
About Us
The Clinical Trials service provides clinical trial management and coordination services for principal investigators throughout Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
Sitting within Research, Governance and Development, the Clinical Trials service supports research across all operational divisions from phase I to phase IV.
