About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse/ Clinical Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part time basis 72 hours per fortnight working various shifts across a 7 day roster. This position is in the ICU ward. Cardiothoracic experience and a Post Grad in Critical Care Nursing or working towards one would be ideal.
Your duties will include Supporting patients throughout their stayMaintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and culturesEffectively worked within scope of practice, demonstrated clinical competencies and comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes including recognition and timely response to patient deteriorationLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetyAssist nursing staff with supporting patients with care of patientsTeam leading some shiftsTraining staffMinimum Requirements: Post Grad in Critical Care or working towards oneCurrent Registration with AHPRACommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamTeam leading and training staff experienceTo Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
