About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse/ Clinical Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part time basis 72 hours per fortnight working various shifts across a 7 day roster.
This position is in the ICU ward.
Cardiothoracic experience and a Post Grad in Critical Care Nursing or working towards one would be ideal.
Your duties will include Supporting patients throughout their stay Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures Effectively work within scope of practice, demonstrate clinical competencies and comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes including recognition and timely response to patient deterioration Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Assist nursing staff with supporting patients with care of patients Team leading some shifts Training staff Essential Criteria: Cardiothoracic experience desirable Post Grad in Critical Care or working towards one Current Registration with AHPRA Commitment to Quality Patient Care Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Team leading and training staff experience Why Healthscope?
