As a TAFE Teacher inNursing and Health Care, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is$89,799 - $118,528 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;orTAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;orTAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B);orTAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;orTAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor;orTAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development;orTAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor;orA higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview. Highly Desirable Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
