The Health Information Services team plays a fundamental role in delivering health information to the Alfred Health community.
Our team prides themselves on the ability to support our clinical and clerical teams to provide the best patient care.
Health Information Services supports the delivery of quality health information across the three campuses at Alfred Health.
Health Information Services is responsible for many services, some of which include:
Management of medical recordsManagement and governance of patient medical record numbersPatient administration system (iPM)Scanning and importing of all internal and external clinical documentationStatutory reporting of all inpatient episodes (VAED)Dictation and transcription servicesEnquiries including the main reception at the Alfred Hospital, Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre and Caulfield HospitalSwitchboard services at The Alfred and Caulfield HospitalsRelease of information to external health servicesManagement and co-ordination of subpoena and warrant complianceAlfred Health ArchivesAs one of Victoria's largest health services, Alfred Health offers variety, innovation and the chance to challenge yourself and be part of a collaborative and caring team.
An opportunity is available for someone with strong computer skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills who is looking to build on their healthcare career.
