Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join their team. This is a 5 months fixed term contract position till the end of June with potential to get extended. Work Holiday Visa candidates are welcomed to apply
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, your main responsibilities are:
Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate accounting processes are completed each month; Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Month end journals and accruals, Cost Allocation, Forecasting, Weekly supplier payments, Cost allocations, Reconciliations
Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports to internal and external stakeholders within contract agreements; Client finance reporting, Variance analysis and General Ad Hoc reporting
Drive continuous improvement to forecasting processes and templates and challenge the business on forecast assumptions
Ensure compliance with internal control structures
Drive efficiency and productivity through standardization and improvements to reporting and processes
Other Ad-hoc tasks as required
Ideal Profile
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
Degree in Accounting & Finance
CPA/CA/ACCA qualified or working towards completing
2 years or more experience in a similar role
Experience in any large Accounting ERP system - JD Edwards (JDE) preferred but not mandatory
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Improve business processes to increase productivity
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Open to candidates who are on a Work Holiday Visa
