You will be challenged and no two days are ever the same in this role
The role: Maintaining, control and diagnosing FMCG machinery such as high-speed fillers, mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulics, robotic machinery and packaging machines.Troubleshooting mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating setting using hydraulic & pneumaticsPlanned maintenance and using systems such as MEXWorking with steam and/or gas appliances, preferred by not essentialIdentifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projectsStable set roster - day shift (5.00am – 1:06pm), afternoon shift (1.00pm – 9:06pm) with the possibility of overtime on alternating weekendsAbout you: At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Fitter working in a 24/7 FCMG environmentExperience in the areas of planned maintenance systems (MEX), organization and customer focusSteam or gas appliance experience preferred, but not essentialFamiliarity with automation and reliability focusConfined Space, Working at Heights and EWP certification would be advantageousShow a great deal of initiative and be a strong advocate of teamworkAs the successful Maintenance Fitter, your skills and ability to think on your feet will be highly valued within our always-on-the-go Engineering & Maintenance team.
