Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications) Full time We are looking for an energetic, creative and results-focused Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to join our Head Office Marketing Team.
The role will work across all facets of the business, including Brand, Salons, E-commerce, David Jones & Education.
The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager role will deliver the digital omni-channel and ecommerce strategy while ensuring our digital offer remains brand aligned, current and attuned to customer experiences.
Created in France in 1936 by Madame Baché, Ella Baché is one of the oldest family-owned skincare companies in the world and a leading skincare brand in the Australian marketplace today.
We have a franchise network, products available in 140 salons and 37 David Jones counters nationwide.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute the overall digital innovation, digital marketing and ecommerce strategy.Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance our online presence.Develop a deep understanding of market, competitive positioning, and key business issues faced by customers and prospects to support strategy and messaging.Stay on top of trends and leading practices in omni-channel marketing to drive innovation and stakeholder enablement.Ecommerce Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless functionality, user experience and optimised customer journey.Actively grow sessions, average order value and conversion rate.Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate actionable insights to improve ecommerce performance and maximise revenue.Implement effective merchandising strategies, including product assortment, inventory management, and work with operations and production team on how to best build the business.Digital Marketing: Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), social media, and affiliate marketing.Drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement through targeted digital marketing initiatives.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and optimise marketing spend.Manage the digital agency.Manage the paid spend budget and improve ROAS.UX/UI: Manage and implement the annual digital plan for website design and functionality to ensure the consumer experience is best practice and achievements of KPI's across the brand website, College, Franchise, Virtual Salons and other digital initiatives.Map and design digital journey strategies including acquisition and retargeting across digital channels for target audiences.Plan and manage the omni-channel CRM calendar in line with national campaigns, content themes, online sales events and tactical promotions to drive revenue / booking / lead KPIs including Ecom, Salon, College and Franchising.Test, measure, and analyse performance across all channels, to optimise strategy and experience.This position will own the entire digital customer journey through lifecycle to improve every aspect of the customer experience across all of our brand pillars to optimise, grow and transform across all digital touch points in a competitive and dynamic environment.First point of contact for all digital support and troubleshooting.Coordinate with external freelancers and agencies to support digital initiatives.Qualifications: Experience and proficiency with Google Analytics and Meta.Experience with Shopify preferred.Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.Proven experience (3-4 years) in digital marketing and ecommerce management.Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing channels, CRM, UX/UI and industry best practices.Proficiency in web analytics tools, SEO/SEM, content management systems and digital marketing software.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.Thirst for knowledge and a desire to pass it on to our consumers and internal staff.Pro-active communicator with the ability to present & articulate complex technical concepts into business language.Ability to strike the right balance between long-term strategy & ad-hoc daily pivots, based on immediate business needs.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages.Excellent analytics and reporting skills including the use of APIs to generate data, Google Analytics, and GA4 experience.Apply via Seek.
