AIC Mines Limited (AIC Mines) is a growth focused copper mining company. We are an ASX listed junior miner focused on transformational growth through exploration, development and acquisitions. We are guided by our values of safety, responsibility, delivery and transparency.AIC Mines is developing the Jericho copper deposit which neighbours our Eloise copper mine located 60km SE of Cloncurry in Northwest Queensland. Eloise is an underground mine with a conventional crush, grind and flotation concentrator to produce a high-quality copper concentrate. AIC Mines is currently finalising permitting study and design requirements and will soon commence developing the Jericho deposit by establishing the Jericho underground mine and an expansion of the Eloise processing plant and associated non-processing infrastructure.About the Role:The Project Director will lead the Jericho Project owner's team to ensure the successful design finalisation, execution and delivery of the Jericho Project scope of work. The Project Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Jericho Project will develop an underground mining operation via decline to complement the existing Eloise Mine via truck haulage to an expanded Eloise copper concentrator and expanded non-processing infrastructure.Key duties and responsibilities include:Lead the owner's team to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the designed specification and quality;Provide strategic project planning, execution, review and management oversight;Enhance and deliver project controls and project reporting to the AIC Mines' Executive and Board;Drive and ensure the health, safety, environment, stakeholder and people performance of the project and contractor groups onsite;Plan and coordinate operational readiness and commissioning activity to ensure a smooth integration and hand over to Eloise operations team upon completion of the project.About You:Project Director or Project Manager level experience managing and delivering brownfields or greenfields metalliferous mining projects;Bachelor or postgraduate qualification(s) in engineering, relevant mining discipline or project management;Project commissioning and operational readiness experience;Commercial and contractor management experience;Knowledge of Queensland safety and environmental legislation and safety, environmental, heritage and people management;Adaptive and energetic leader with rounded leadership attributes and capability.Next Steps:Please apply by clicking the APPLY link below.AIC Mines is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone is treated fairly and respectfully.
