The City's Fleet Maintenance and Fabrication team is at the forefront of providing cost-competitive and efficient vehicle, plant and equipment resources to the City.
The team provides services including mechanical maintenance, panel and paint repairs, auto electrical services, mobile communications, and metal fabrication.
As part of this group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet operates at its best.
About your new role The Fleet Maintenance Officer provides assistance to Fleet Maintenance by providing logistical support to the maintenance teams and enabling effective and efficient maintenance of Fleet assets, with a high expectation of providing a positive customer experience for Fleet clients.
Role Responsibilities: Assisting with vehicle and component movementCleaning and refuelling vehiclesGeneral housekeeping tasks throughout the Fleet Maintenance workshopsFace-to-Face and on the phone liaison with stakeholders and suppliersWorking safely by following approved processes and procedures and applying appropriate risk mitigation when undertaking workEnsuring that all business processes and practices are executed in a sustainable, timely and accurate mannerWe're looking for people who have: A friendly, open manner with the ability to prioritise workA team player who effectively communicates work progressDrivers Licence Class HR (Mandatory)General Construction White Card (Desirable)Experience in supporting a workshop or depot environmentBe part of shaping the Gold Coast's future The Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
