Maintenance Officer

As a full-time Maintenance Officer at Elderly Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aged care facilities in Pimpama, Queensland.
Your primary focus will be on providing comprehensive maintenance services to uphold the safety, functionality and aesthetics of our premises.
What you'll be doing Conducting regular inspections and identifying maintenance requirements across our facilitiesPerforming a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general upkeepCoordinating with external contractors and suppliers to facilitate larger maintenance projectsEnsuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulationsMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and expendituresAssisting the Facilities Manager in developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategiesProviding a high level of customer service to our residents, their families, and our staffWhat we're looking for A minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance or handyperson role, preferably in the aged care or healthcare sectorStrong practical skills and expertise in a range of maintenance disciplines, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and paintingA good working knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practicesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholdersA positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality serviceA valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicleWhat we offer Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career advancementA supportive and inclusive work environmentDiscounts on a range of health and wellness products and servicesEmployee assistance program and wellbeing initiativesAbout us Elderly Care is a leading provider of aged care services in Queensland, committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.
