Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the effective operation of the mine from a control room situation, providing tactical shift oversight and execution of the shift plan to improve overall production in a safe and efficient manner.

This is offered on 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster and would require the incumbent to be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie.
Benefits include: 6 % Site Allowance & Quarterly Bonus Scheme & Private Health Insurance AllowanceSalary continuance scheme and life insuranceVirgin Velocity reward pointsContinual training and ability to expand your careerSalary Sacrifice optionsAbout the role: Assist in optimising mining activities by providing operational coordination through the effective use of the fleet management system as part of the shift management team along with production, drill & blast and Maintenance Supervisors and Leading HandsEnsure the equipment stoppages and delays are planned and coordinated to reduce impact to the production cycleCoordinate and monitor equipment operator breaks and ensure equipment is refueled and equipment delivered for planned maintenance in accordance with shift planContribute to procedures and documentation for the safe and efficient operation of DispatchLiaise with the crew, Dispatch Technician and Supervisor to ensure that the technology infrastructure, systems and main data references are maintained and working correctlyAbout you: Previous experience in Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets in an operational context would be highly regardedPrevious experience working with Wenco, Modular, Jigsaw or MineStarValid Driver's License is mandatoryExcellent communication skills both written and oralDemonstrated high level of safety standards and work behavioursWe are committed to achieving a diverse and inclusive workforce, and strongly encourage applications from female, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, as well as candidates with culturally diverse backgrounds.
