Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Manager to join our Sydney Team.
The General Manager directs and coordinates activities of the business, such as operations, marketing, purchasing and customer service.
Facilitates the development of business plans and formulating and administering organisational policies.
Furthermore, the General Managers would also control staffing, service quality, facility management, policies and procedures, and client satisfaction, in line with Managing Director's budget guidance.
Responsibilities:
Execute the company's business strategies as directed by the Managing DirectorReports business analytics to the Managing Director.
Oversee the daily undertakings of the Sydney team, which consists of Support Workers, Case Managers, Workforce Planners, Community Engagement Managers and other office based staff members to ensure the team work harmoniously together to achieve the highest standards of service delivery.Drive the business planning processes with collaboration with Managing Director, with a focus on developing budgets, equipment requirements and costs of clinical services.Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
Reviews and analyse activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectivesLead clinical governance activities including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual processes such as clinical governance committee meetings, continuous improvement register, clinical data set and other processes to be defined.
Qualifications & Experience / Selection Criteria:
Relevant qualification related to Aged Care is desirable but not requiredDegree qualified or experience in similar role is required.Proven experience in a high-level management role, ideally within the aged-care or healthcare sector.Strong Leadership qualities, with the ability to handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism and ensure a positive outcomes.Experience in people management, showing effective communication and the demonstrated ability to work within and support a productive workplace culture.
The ability to monitor, coordinate and manage multiple departments, with the overall outcome to deliver a professional service that meets the values, quality and SLA of Home Care Assistance.Candidate will be able to portray and address their understanding of unique challenges and opportunities within their Management/Leadership style.
Successful candidates will be able to express how their Management/Leadership style has provided tangible change and benefit towards an organisation or team.
