With society returning to normality post-pandemic, we are eager to expand our business and hope to supply our items to Asian supermarkets.We are currently seeking a professional, hands-on, and detail-oriented General Manager to join our business. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's ongoing operations and procedures, managing different departments. You will be the company's first-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the company and the work of different departments such as Sales, Finance, customer service, etc.Design and implement business strategies, plans, processes, and procedures.Drive the company's financial planning and ensure all financial and operational targets are met.Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.Implement robust governance frameworks to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation.Demonstrate financial acumen in areas such as P&L and costing control.Conduct efficient staff meetings and set a stellar example.Train, motivate, and manage staff performance.Collaborate with different departments and communicate effectively with all departments.Implement and execute successful promotions throughout the business.Qualification RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the food industry and proven experience as GM or similar role.Strong leadership and management skills.Decision-making and problem-solving skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.Experience with quality assurance software and tools is a plus.Ability to travel interstate and internationally.Bilingual is essential as the company's main product is Chinese food.To be considered for this position, please directly apply on Seek and submit your resume.
