As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Hassall Grove, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and careMentor and build capabilities within the centre teamBe responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absenceUse and implement the Goodstart Practice GuideAbout Goodstart Hassall Grove Join a thriving, Exceeding-rated childcare centre as an Assistant Director and become part of a heart-felt and gracious team
Conveniently located near local shops, schools, and the M7 motorway, our centre provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of 55-places and proudly serves over 80 families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
With strong community connections—including partnerships with local schools, Aboriginal Elders, and inclusive programs for children with additional needs such as self-regulation and social skills—our centre is a hub of learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities: Primarily work in the toddler's room.Support the centre in working within operating hours 7am – 6pmBring an innovative leadership style, strong understanding of compliance and the ability to stay current with regulations.Collaborate effectively with a welcoming and adaptable team of Early Childhood Professionals.This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while fostering a culture of excellence within a supportive environment.
