They have a reputation as a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment.They have earned more than 100 global design awards whilst launching new technologies that increase uptime and lower total cost of ownership.With more than 40 branches and dealers currently operating throughout the region, they are focused on expanding their extensive network throughout the Asia Pacific region to better reach, supply, and support their customers.The RoleDue to strong growth, the company is in need of a dynamic Regional Procurement Manager for the APAC region.
This role is responsible for leading the Regional Asia Pacific Procurement team, working with key stakeholders & delivering a procurement strategy that directly contributes towards achieving the Asia Pacific business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesReview contracts for opportunities across the Asia Pacific region to increase value, reduce costs and identify areas for improvement.Manage sourcing activities as directed & identify procurement opportunities within the business.Analyse business supply needs and ensure effective alignment with the Company's operational strategy.Provide highly responsive procurement support to internal departments.Manage stock replenishment in accordance with planning outputs and procurement agreements.Establish effective communications & partnership-based relationships with suppliers.Provide mentoring, coaching, guidance, and leadership for team members.Proactively demonstrate safe working practices & oversee a culture of compliance with WHS requirements.About YouThe successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator who proactively manages information flow across relevant stakeholders for the business.You will bring resourcefulness, strong negotiation skills & excellent leadership skills to support a growing team.What you will bring to the role:5+ years of demonstrated procurement / senior purchasing experience.Experience in optimising spend, driving efficiencies, minimising compliance risks and implementing controls.Experience in the Industrial / Capital Equipment industry will be highly regarded.Proven history in the ability to build relationships with employees, colleagues, and customers.Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.Strong collaboration, resilience & critical thinking abilities.BenefitsThis organisation supports its employees to be the best versions of themselves and provides for:A benefits program which gives access to discounts and cashback from over 400+ retailers nationwide.Access to a health and wellbeing platform which supports your Mental, Physical and Financial goals.Corporate Rates for Private Health Insurance.An inclusive working environment.An Employee Assistance Program for confidential counselling with chat, phone and face to face counselling options.Please apply via the Apply for this job button or via www.beilbydt.com.au quoting reference number 1246849.
