We make every day count.Redland Commercial Team overview Redland's Commercial Team conducts Redland's end-to-end commercial and strategic operations, marketing, procurement, supply chain, business intelligence group strategy, procurement, quality assurance, group operational analysis and support to the production and processing verticals of the enterprise.
The Commercial and Strategy Analyst Processing supports the processing vertical in the optimisation of operations and profitability through insightful and impactful analysis and decision support information.
Redland's processing vertical includes all operations, facilities and infrastructure involved in the packing and distribution of its fruit.
The analysis and decision support includes packing facility and infrastructure design, operation analysis, continuous improvement initiatives and any other aspect which supports the achievement of Redland's commercial and strategy objectives in processing.
Primary responsibilities: Develop, implement and deliver commercial strategies to maximise Redland Processing commercial success.Lead and initiate operational, commercial and strategic analysis to identify opportunities for continuous growth and improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, growers and other relevant stakeholders.Develop and measure commercial performance to identify efficiency improvements and increased profit opportunities.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Head of Processing and their direct reports to deliver on whole of business commercial and strategic goals.Liaise and work closely with Redland's Finance Team to improve commercial and strategic outcomes.Pressure test and settle Redland strategies with consultation and input from Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Business Intelligence Teams.Redland market analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.Performance monitoring: Track and report on Redland Processing commercial and strategic performance and develop improvement initiatives and strategies to improve its fiscal performance.Budget Management: Manage the commercial and strategy budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.Compliance: Ensure all commercial and strategic activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.Experience and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Marketing, Agriculture or a related field, with a MBA highly regarded.Minimum 5 to 7 years proven experience in high-performing commercial and/or analytical roles.High quality leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Strong ability to assess and improve operational performance.Proven strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.IT, Data Systems and Continuous Improvement proficiency.Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and effectively to different audiences.Teamwork and Collaboration: Capacity to work well with others, contribute positively to team dynamics, and collaborate toward common goals.Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build trust and rapport to enable a supportive environment for collaboration and foster stakeholder engagement.Adaptability/Flexibility: Willingness and ability to adapt to changing situations, environments, and demands.Conflict Resolution: Skill in identifying, addressing, and resolving conflicts within a team or with stakeholders.Leadership: Capability to lead and inspire others, whether in formal or informal roles.Time Management: Effective prioritisation and organisation of tasks to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.Emotional Intelligence: Awareness and management of self, as well as understanding and responding appropriately to the emotions of others.Critical Thinking: Analytical and logical reasoning to assess situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions.Decision Making: Ability to make timely and sound decisions, considering relevant factors and potential outcomes.Initiative: Proactive approach to taking on responsibilities, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing beyond assigned tasks.Negotiation Skills: Capability to reach mutually beneficial agreements and resolve disputes through effective negotiation.Submit your application including your resume and cover letter today.
