We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – CloudOps & FinOps, you will be accountable for the support & delivery of operational services, lifecycle & compliance management, monitoring, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure.Reporting to the Senior Manager – CloudOps & FinOps, you will be accountable for the support & delivery of operational services, lifecycle & compliance management, monitoring, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure.

To do this successfully you will:Support the delivery of operational services required to meet defined service levels in support of AIAA cloud hosted solutions.Manage the life cycle of our cloud services to ensure supportability, security and compliance policies are met.Support the development and enforce policies and procedures for cloud operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance requirements.Participate in change, incident and problem management processes for cloud infrastructure and network assets.Monitor and analyse system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and stability.Collaborate with IT teams to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and implement DevOps practices for continuous improvement.Responsible for the operations of the FinOps function.Execute established financial management strategies for cloud resources, optimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.Analyse and monitor cloud usage and spending patterns.Successful applications will demonstrate:
