Fairmont is part of Accor, a world leading hospitality group counting over 5,400 properties throughout more than 110 countries, and a participating brand in ALL - Accor Live Limitless – a lifestyle loyalty program providing access to a wide variety of rewards, services and experiences.Job DescriptionEnsure correct grooming standards are followed at all timesResponsible for the smooth operation of the outletFollow up on all financials, LQA, Forbes and TrustYou targetsBe aware of the daily, monthly and yearly financial targetsActively contribute towards the achievement of financial targetsReport all issues and negative guest feedback on Glitch systemFollow up on opening and closing checklistsMaintain HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing bodyHandle financial procedures according to guidelines set by the finance departmentLink all facets of service, cuisine and entertainmentAssume responsibility for daily operationsHandle security incidents and guest complaints confidently and professionally, reporting them in a timely manner to the direct supervisorAssist with daily briefings for all staff prior to commencement of shiftBe creative, confident and prepared to think outside of the boxFollow the personal development plan set by the direct supervisorEnsure the operational inventory is always accounted for and in immaculate conditionMaintain the outlet at the highest levelsCreate opportunities for upselling productsDevelop the direct team to strive for excellenceInspire heartists to create a flow of new and 'improved' ideasFollow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an EmergencyDeliver optimum levels of service and guest satisfactionEstablish and maintain effective communication across all divisionsLead by example through a passionate, hands-on approachAssist with collecting information for the monthly P&L reviewQualifications2-3 years' experience as a leader preferably in a fast-paced luxury propertyExcellent knowledge in Food & Beverage including bar operationsComputer literacy an added advantage; previous use and mastery of point of sale system requiredAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesService-focused personality with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
