As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities within the plant to ensure optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
You will lead and support a dedicated team, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and safely, while driving continuous improvement in operations.
You will also:
Have an ability to influence positive change in a challenging environmentSupervise crews including management of personnel daily activities as requiredProvide clear directions and demonstrate ability to complete assigned tasksEstablish effective working relationships with all other personnel around the Mill to achieve high factory reliability and production targetsEnsure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety as per company site safety policies and legislative requirementsEnsure compliance with site environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresOther duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the Factory.About you As a minimum, you will hold and/or maintain the following:
Substantial demonstrated experience in successfully leading teams in meeting measurable outcomes within the Sugar Milling and/or Heavy Industrial environmentsTertiary or Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Trade, Engineering or related disciplineMinimum of 5 years' experience and knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance executionComputer literacy in Microsoft ApplicationsSAP experience is desirableWhy Mackay Sugar?
