The ANZ Financial Controller role is pivotal to the success of the accounting and finance department within a leading industrial/manufacturing company. It is a relatively senior position requiring expertise in financial management, strategic planning and influencing business decisions.
Our client is a highly-regarded entity in the industrial/manufacturing sector. With a sizeable workforce of over 1000 employees, the company is renowned for delivering high-quality products and services. Their base of operations is situated in Dandenong South.
Description The Financial Controller ANZ is reporting to a regional Finance Director and working closely with the local leadership team and Department Heads. The role includes the following:
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plansDirecting and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the companyProviding strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issuesOptimising the handling of banking relationships and initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash flowManaging and leading staff within the departmentMonitoring and analysing financial dataEnsuring effective internal controlsComplying with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislationProfile A successful ANZ Financial Controller should have:
