Role Description
At SEM Windows (SA) Pty Ltd, we manufacture high-quality aluminum residential and commercial windows and doors, including curtain walls and facades.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring smooth execution and effective logistics management.
This role offers opportunities for career growth into senior management for the right candidate, allowing you to play a key role in the company's success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively plan, execute, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, anticipating project needs to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to schedules and financial targets.
Lead and manage project teams, providing direction, support, and technical guidance to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Build and sustain strong client relationships, addressing on-site issues promptly and fostering a service-focused mindset to uphold SEM Windows' reputation in the industry.
Promote and enforce health and safety regulations, cultivating a strong safety culture on-site.
Troubleshoot project-related issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient resolution.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and communications.
Conduct regular project meetings to keep all parties informed, aligned, and focused on project objectives.
Manage compliance by ensuring all products are installed according to our shop drawings, engineering specifications, and waterproofing certifications.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' Project Management experience in the commercial aluminum window and door industry.
Extensive industry knowledge and technical proficiency.
Highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Strong leadership and a positive, solutions-focused approach to team management.
Proficient in project management software, including tools for site reporting, quality assurance, and inspection test plans.
Strong understanding of window and door systems and their integration with other on-site construction details.
Excellent communication skills to engage professionally with all stakeholders.
Team player who promotes a positive, team-oriented environment.
White Card certification and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure, with a focus on quality and service.
