We are currently undergoing a significant transformation of our technology environment, focusing on enhancing our IT operations and security posture to align with APRA regulations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of IT Operations and Security to lead our IT transformation journey.
This key leadership role requires a proven track record in networking, infrastructure management, service desk operations, and security within the financial services sector.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations, enhancing our security frameworks, and managing relationships with third-party vendors as we migrate our infrastructure to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT operational strategies aligned with the company's objectives, focusing on security enhancements and cloud migration.Networking and Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of our networking and infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability and performance.Service Desk Management: Lead the service desk operations to ensure prompt and effective resolution of IT issues, enhancing user satisfaction and operational efficiency.Security Oversight: Establish and maintain a robust security framework, ensuring compliance with APRA regulations and industry best practices.
Lead initiatives to improve our overall security posture.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they align with our operational goals and security requirements.
Oversee procurement strategies to optimize costs and services.Cloud Strategy: Drive the migration of infrastructure to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition and integration with existing services.
Implement Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions.Application Deployment: Serve as a subject matter expert in Intune application deployment, ensuring effective management of mobile devices and applications.Transformation Leadership: Lead the overall transformation of our technology environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications: Proven experience in IT operations and security within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of APRA regulations.Extensive knowledge of networking, infrastructure management, service desk operations, and IT security practices.Demonstrated experience in managing third-party vendor relationships and strategic procurement processes.Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and experience with IaaS solutions.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and tools, with a focus on Intune application deployment.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
