Join our market-leading FMCG company as the Head of Operations, driving operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.
About the Role: As the Head of Operations, you'll be at the forefront of our single-site production facility, responsible for optimizing all aspects of production, quality, and efficiency.
Reporting to the COO, you'll lead and inspire a large team, overseeing daily operations to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and productivity that meet our business and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership : Oversee end-to-end production operations at a large single-site facility, ensuring alignment with company goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strategic Optimization : Develop and execute strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and on-site safety, with a focus on continuous improvement and lean practices.
Team Leadership & Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Quality & Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry regulations and food safety standards, maintaining rigorous quality control across all processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with senior leadership and other departments to align on operational objectives, budgeting, and resource planning.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive Food Manufacturing Experience : Significant experience in a senior operations role within food manufacturing, with a preference for candidates who have overseen large, single-site operations.
Leadership & People Development Skills : Proven ability to lead large teams effectively, with a focus on engagement, development, and performance management.
Analytical & Strategic Mindset : Skilled in data analysis and process optimization to drive operational improvements.
Change Management : Expertise in leading operational transformations and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
