About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our organisation at our Head Office in Macquarie Park, NSW.
This role offers the chance to take on a key position in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable function while contributing to the ongoing success of our organisation.
Duties include: Manage a team of staff directly (direct reports) and indirectly (site administrators) to ensure management can access an accurate representation of the company's creditor ledger.Understand and improve key stakeholders' roles and responsibilities throughout the AP processes.Where reasonable, create, modify, and maintain key processes required to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.Participate in processes as needed, such as processing invoices during peak periods.Perform necessary checks and balances on all electronic transfers.Maintain active communication and cooperation with suppliers to ensure good performance and prompt resolution of disputes and problems.Comply with the EPTEC Management Manual, particularly regarding Purchasing, Document and Data Control, and Control of Management System Records.Deliver on key AP metrics, such as the number of invoices awaiting processing.Skills / Qualifications: Tertiary studies in Accounting and/or Business Administration or relevant experience.4-6 years demonstrated experience in an autonomous AP environment.Experience in the use of computerised systems for accounts payable and understanding system related business processes.Experience in Timberline for AP processing is desirable.Join a dynamic team: At Eptec, our values foster a collaborative, caring, performance-focused culture that supports a safe and secure working environment for all our teams, stakeholders and clients.
