As a member of our team, you'll work alongside a talented group of journalists and researchers, collaborating to produce hard-hitting, award-winning journalism. Your responsibilities will include cultivating sources, conducting thorough investigations, and crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences across multiple platforms.
The Job You will:
Research, write, compile, and present news and current affairs content that is accurate, timely and innovative covering a range of subjects and issues.Research story material, identify suitable sources, and arrange and conduct interviews to support own and others' output.Suggest and pitch regular story ideas for the program.Keep well informed and aware of local and global economic issues along with maintaining an intimate knowledge of domestic and international corporate, social, economic, and political issues.About You To excel in this position, you must possess exceptional writing and storytelling skills, an unwavering commitment to ethical journalism, and the ability to thrive under pressure. A deep understanding of Australian politics and a keen eye for identifying newsworthy angles are essential. Additionally, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and impartiality.
