The Role:As a Construction Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor, you will be responsible for implementing our health and safety strategy across Victoria.
This exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our head office team in the position of Construction HSE Advisor.
In this role, you will provide HSE assistance, advice, training, and support to our staff and subcontractor network.
This position would suit someone who already has some health and safety experience and is keen on expanding their health and safety skillset with a growing and diverse business in a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive & lead a strong safety culture Have a dedicated onsite presence, conducting inspections, audits, and coaching Reduce risks and prevent injuries through a focus on high risk work activities and safety compliance Keep up to date with HSE compliance in relevant state & national legislation Implement, maintain & update project specific HSE plans and SWMS Liaise with regulatory authorities on HSE regulation and compliance Manage HSE inductions & onboarding process for new internal staff Provide advice on HSE matters and issues Respond to incidents & emergencies, including investigations and reporting Monitor safety compliance through efficient safety systems Other duties as directed by the National HSE Manager & State Managers Key Selection Criteria:
Qualification in Work Health & Safety (minimum Certificate IV in H&S) Previous experience in the Building & Construction industry Competent use of technology and safety systems Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders Superior communication skills, both written & verbal Results driven & adaptable Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities & make quick decisions Problem solving & process implementation skills Ability to analyse & interpret data, laws & regulations Strong Microsoft Office skills Valid driver licence and willingness to travel regionally and interstate Construction White Card Working with Children Check (preferred or to undertake during employment) We are a company of integrity and diversity.If you are interested in furthering your career and developing your leadership skills further, I would love to hear from you.
