Key Duties & Responsibilities Take full ownership of large loss insurance building projects Monitor estimator quotation lists Monitor & assist team with relationship development Discuss market trends & pricing schedules Ensure any discrepancies with quotations of projects are identified Identify any apparent trends regarding pricing Develop relationships with key cliental in the insurance & further market Develop & foster relationships for with new and existing cliental Develop & continually critique / monitor estimating processes & strategies, ensuring our systems are of best practice in the industry Explore potential non-conforming cost savings & alternatives Conduct & manage detailed project take-offs & internal measures Analysis of potential cost savings, gains, losses & profitability Develop preliminary costs in conjunction with nominated construction manager Travel around regional NSW Key Selection Criteria Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy?

Extensive estimating experience in the construction sector Insurance building or commercial background ideal, however not essential Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal Ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders Computer literacy – Microsoft Excel, Project & Word Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client Familiarity with OHS practices, legislation & regulations Familiarity with current market rates & trades Good work ethic & highly motivated Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities Current & valid motor vehicle licence Please note: The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia, and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where required.
