Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist - DarwinWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly-competent Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our thriving practice NDC Darwin.About National Dental Care – DarwinWe are a large, modern, 8 chair dental practice with full QIP accreditation and state-of-the-art equipment and technology including an OPG / CBCT machine, CEREC, Laser, MIS, NEOSS, NOBLE BIOCARE Implant systems and Intraoral cameras.
We are a friendly and multicultural team of 5 Dentists, 2 other Hygienists and a supportive, highly experienced practice manager.
We also have a fantastic team of FIFO specialists in ortho and implants.
Having been in the community for over 15 years we have a well-established patient following and are looking forward to expanding the teamAbout the RoleAs a knowledgeable Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist, you'll work alongside the Dentist to provide a wide range of oral hygiene services to patients - including diagnosing and managing conditions of the teeth, mouth and jaws, cleaning and polishing teeth, and informing patients about oral hygiene.
You'll employ critical thinking, clinical knowledge, and a patient-centric approach to ensure the highest level of care, service and client satisfaction.Skills & ExperienceYou have:Ideally 2+ years experience but willing to consider talented new graduatesRelevant degree in Hygiene / Oral Health Therapy with high clinical skills and standardsCurrent unconditional AHPRA registrationAn appropriate qualification recognised by the Dental Board of AustraliaCurrent professional indemnity insuranceYou are:An organised problem-solver with a strong work ethicA team player with the ability to manage and coach othersOpen-minded, empathetic and understandingHighly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentationWhat We OfferModern practice with the latest dental technologies and equipmentPractise alongside a well-established, experienced clinician & staff teamFun, supportive culture that loves to celebrate achievements, special holidays, birthdays, anniversaries etc with morning teas & themed daysCPD & training courses through our exclusive 'NDC Academy' course platformClinical & social event opportunities throughout the year with experienced health professionals across our NDC networkAbout National Dental Care (NDC)Founded in 2013, National Dental Care started with just four dental practices in Brisbane.
