They need an AppSec Engineer who's ready to roll up their sleeves and elevate their security game.
If you're a skilled communicator, eager to lead, and can bring solid technical knowledge, this is your opportunity to shape security where it matters.
Role Overview:In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bake security into the development processes.
Not only will you champion best practices and work to keep vulnerabilities at bay, but you'll also own the reporting of security metrics across project deliverables, SLAs, and the overall state of our security program.
You'll be mentoring a team of AppSec Engineers, driving initiatives forward, and keeping our security efforts visible and actionable.
Key Responsibilities: Engage with development and product teams to integrate security into every step of the software lifecycle.Lead security assessments, code reviews, and proactive testing.Oversee and mentor an AppSec Engineer, fostering growth and driving security initiatives.Report on security metrics, ensuring visibility across project milestones, SLAs, and the broader security landscape.Collaborate on embedding security tools and practices within CI/CD pipelines.Stay ahead of the latest security trends and apply them to keep our defenses sharp.What We're Looking For: Extensive experience in application security, with a strong background in secure software development and security testing.Communication skills that shine—you're comfortable discussing security with both technical and non-technical teams.Proven track record of reporting and monitoring security metrics, especially around SLAs and project outcomes.Familiarity with DevSecOps and integrating security seamlessly into CI/CD. #J-18808-Ljbffr
