In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property at some of the region's most exciting and prestigious events. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of event security, working with a leading industry provider. We're seeking individuals with strong work ethics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.These casual roles offer a rotating roster across multiple sites in the Melbourne region, with the flexibility to work during major seasonal events.Key responsibilities include:Providing crowd control and ensuring the safety of attendees at large-scale eventsMonitoring entry points, conducting bag checks, and enforcing access policiesResponding swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergenciesCollaborating with event staff and law enforcement to mitigate potential risksMaintaining a visible presence to deter disruptive behaviour or unauthorised accessEnsuring compliance with event-specific security protocols and proceduresWe are looking for:Valid VIC Security LicenceCertificate II in Security OperationsCurrent First Aid/CPR CertificationStrong dedication, reliability, and commitment to safety and securityPhysically fit, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periodsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a friendly and approachable demeanorHigh level of computer literacyAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamHow to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
