At GenesisCare we want to hear from people who are as passionate as we are about innovation and working together to drive better life outcomes for patients around the world.Care to join the team?GenesisCare Oncology has an exciting opportunity available for a Part Time Patient Accounts Officer to join us at our fantastic Adelaide Team, one day a week.The Patient Accounts position is responsible for the management of patient accounts, including the creation and issue of patient estimates, generation of invoices, receipting and debt collection.This role provides support to Clinicians by ensuring patients are fully informed of the billing system and the funding mechanisms of Medicare and the relevant private health funds.More specifically, you will:Managing patient accounts across multiple disciplines, including the creation and issue of patient estimates, generation of invoices, receipting and debt collection.Effectively communicate the treatment fee structure and attend to patient account enquiries in a friendly and timely manner.Providing support to Clinicians by ensuring patients are fully informed of the billing system and the funding mechanisms of Medicare and the relevant private health funds.Ensure debtors are managed effectively and in line with the Debtors Management policy & procedure.Work co-operatively within a multidisciplinary team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.We're interested in hearing from people who have:Medical accounts processing skills including knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health funds.Demonstrated ability in using clinical administration systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.A flexible and motivated individual, with strong organisational skills.Demonstrated understanding of and an ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.Proven experience to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.Benefits of joining our team:Ongoing opportunities for professional development to keep up to date with current clinical practices in a rapidly developing organisation.Work in a collaborative and friendly environment delivering outstanding outpatient care.Fast-paced, challenging role with one of the most influential healthcare providers.Enhance your holistic wellbeing with our Full Circle wellbeing program.Range of benefits available: Qantas membership discount, gym membership discount, 12 weeks paid parental leave, Bupa discount.About GenesisCareBy joining GenesisCare, you will be joining a highly progressive and passionate team of healthcare professionals and support staff, united by a common purpose: to design care experiences that deliver the best possible life outcomes.
