Accounts Receivable Officer

Start ASAP | Contract until 30 June 2025 We're seeking two highly motivated Accounts Receivable Officers to support the Financial Services team.

About the role and the team: Reporting to the Operational Team Leader, the Accounts Receivable Officer will support the preparation and processing of financial transactions while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service.
The AR Officer will: Contribute to the preparation and timely processing of accounts by undertaking manual and system processing of claims and payments of goods and services received, creation of invoices, receipting of revenue, investigating and taking corrective action on any discrepancies and ensuring that all relevant data is correctly entered into the system Check invoice/adjustment requests for completeness, generate invoices/adjustment notes accurately, match and process receipts, prepare banks deposits, reports, batches and other accounts Receivable processes as required Be required to work effectively as an individual and a member of the team to meet deadlines, identify and deal with problems Be required to work towards daily targets and actively contribute to achieve team goals Provide a timely and accurate front-line service including answering queries and providing advice, while demonstrating respect, consistency and courtesy Preferred Experience: Call-centre environments Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel (Intermediate) Requirements: Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to learn/adapt quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage high volumes of work and work under pressure Ability to meet strict deadlines Strong numerical reasoning skills Research and data collection skills At HOBAN we encourage applications from people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people of all genders, LGBTI people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
