Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director, Healthcare to lead our healthcare practice.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, developing and executing integrated PR strategies, and leading a team of PR professionals.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in healthcare communications, with a strong track record of success in a public relations agency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic PR and communications plans for healthcare clients, aligning with their business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PR professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and professional growth of team members.
Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to new business pitches.
Client Management: Oversee the planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership, and content creation.
Ensure all client deliverables are met with excellence, on time, and within budget.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to provide proactive insights and recommendations to clients.
Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams within the agency to deliver cohesive and innovative communication solutions.
Stay abreast of healthcare industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep clients at the forefront of their industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
10+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on healthcare communications.
Proven leadership experience in a PR agency, managing large accounts, and leading teams.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
